"A road trip across America stopping at every Kentucky Fried Chicken diner along the way does not sound like an A-list event.
But this particular car was carrying Marlon Brando, Dame Elizabeth Taylor and Michael Jackson.
The unlikely threesome began driving across America in a rental car after planes were grounded in the aftermath of the terror attacks on New York on September 11, 2001, according to Vanity Fair."

I have to believe this is a hoax, but it's a very entertaining one.

Wow. What a total non issue for a news piece. lol

(No offense to you whatsoever OP. Just to the news who issued it).

And, yes. I believe that is at least possible. Many had to resort to doing such things when planes weren't flying. I remember Cory Feldman, a once friend of MJ, had a falling out with MJ when he wouldn't help Cory get out of NYC after 911. I guess Cory felt left out he wasn't in the celebrity carpool.

Actually Michael Jackson loved KFC, and would even order it during flights on private charter jets, as was revealed in the excellent book, The Michael Jackson Conspiracy by Aphrodite Jones (an American of Greek extraction).

Paul Krassner tells a story of an orgy film that was found at the Sharon Tate home that included:

Yul Brenner
Peter Sellers
and Mama Cass Elliot

So celebrity trios are not a new thing. Try to erase that image from your mind--I've been attempting to for years.

The other thing they all have in common is that they are now dead!
(That's about as relevant to anything... )

"Hey Marlon how did you get that much chicken? We only had 3.50"
"I Made him an offer he couldn't refuse"

This would be the funniest dvd ever, Jackson was funny as fook sometimes.
