Mobile-friendly ATS??

Dunno where this belongs and if it has been queried before but Mods but please move it to the right pace of your choice ...

Is ther no mobile-friendly version of ATS?

If I'm being stoopid, please point me to the correct URL.

I personally don't use it though, it looks like it was designed for older style PALM devices or something.
Maybe we can get the owners to update it, eh?

On my iPhone, the regular site works pretty sweet actually!

P.S. On my iPod Touch the normal site works fine and I actually prefer it to the mobile version.

I do not like a few things about the mobile site.

*no stars or flags

*no embedding of pics and view or even li KS to what has been embedded.

*clicking on a link within a thread to go to another ATS thread makes the new thread open up on ATS proper instead of the mobile site.

*can't start a new thread

*posts while on mobile do not appear under My ATS.



I did read a month or two ago, that ATS was working on an iPhone/Android app with full ATS functionality.

You can use opera mini or bolt web browser apps to access ats on mobile. Both work well on most models of mobile.

I saw the mobile friendly ATS, and it's crap!
I'm on Opera mini, and on the normal ATS site, not even using the mobile view. I get much more out of ATS this way!

On my mobile(htc disire)The normal site is sweet as a nut,running wise.
The only bummer is that sum licks or images you cant see,but i just flag them and take a look on my pc when i,m on it

I'm trying to access the mobile site via my PC. How can I do that? m.abovetopsecret.com just redirects to the normal ATS page.

The reason is I prefer the mobile site. Its CLEAN and FAST. It seems time consuming for me to open the ATS page with all the scripts and all the menus etc.. and with its constant refreshing it is a burden for my bandwith.
I only visit ATS to browse through recent threads/posts to see what's new. I can do that on my phone in 1 minute.

In Firefox and Chrome there are add-ons that will trick the page into thinking you are on a mobile device.

I dont know about IE or Safari but I imagine there are similar tools available.

There was one. It was like $3 and didnt do anything youd expect it to. An amazing piece of garbage. I dont know if it still exists. I think it was just an ATS radio conduit.

About two years ago there was buzz of apps and a whole new mobile friendly site.

All of that disappeared with little fanfare and was chocked up to "poor quality" as the cause of it never being released.

The only thing I would change to mobile ATS is adding automatic links under pics and vids other members post. If you add a video without a adding a link yourself all you will see is this > (video).... Other than that Mobile ATS is fine to me. its definitely a battery saver.

And the mobile page looks like this. Very nice.

I use a tablet which is the same thing and I use the regular website. Everything works fine except the "ribbon" constantly pops up in my face.

Yeah, the ribbon is an issue i have also, when I reply to a post and edit it for typos the ribbon sits on the top line of the main text box so i cant get to edit the top line easily. Have to wait and mess around with the page until the ribbon sorts itself
