Rand Paul questions Donald Trump's GOP credentials

Sen. Rand Paul (R) used the release of President Obama's long-form birth certificate to lampoon Donald Trump, the man who took credit for forcing the White House's hand.

Speaking Thursday morning at Merrimack County Republican Committee breakfast funder at Concord Holiday Inn, the Kentucky senator said: "I want to see the original long form certificate, with embossed seal, of Donald Trump's Republican registration."

After laughter subsided, he went on.

"Seriously."

Paul, a "tea party" favorite, mentioned the thousands of dollars that Trump donated to Democrats Harry Reid and Charlie Rangel, and questions whether Trump is really a Republican.

"I'm going to believe it when I see the embossed seal on his Republican registration," he said.

Giving money to that POS Harry Reid should be a crime in itself... and something that definetly bars you from running for president, especially running as a republican!

Apologies if either my post or the OP was miscontrued - this move by Paul is a lampoon of the whole birther fiasco.

The validity of any aspect of 'birtherism' aside, this article is meant to point out the silliness of the entire issue as well as illustrate that people should actually be focused on more important issues.

Despite the fact that constitutional qualification is a serious issue for a nation under the rule of law, the US currently has much more pressing issues and important debates to deal with than a sideshow relating to something that may or may not affect topics directly impacted by the last few decades' worth of US presidents regardless of their maternal national allifliation.

If Trumph donated to Harry Ried then he is a farce. Should Donald Trumph actively begin running & campaigning for President then I'll vote for ANYONE but Trumph. If you all think business has it easy now, wait till the Donald gets elected!

On the same topic flavor here, I personally think that Ron Paul will experience some kind of misfortune in which will mean he can't or won't run for President. just a gut feeling, thats all.
