You should try upping your nicotine, what mg/ml are you currently using? I have tried 36mg/ml juice at (I think) 3.7v and the throat hit was pretty powerful, definitely more powerful than any cigarette I've ever had. What is your current juice made of? PG seems to have a more pronounced throat hit than VG so you could also try going with a higher ratio of that. Lots of things to try. Like someone else in this thread said you have to find a good setup that works for you.

You could also try a low resistance atomizer or higher voltage battery.

Moving in another direction, there are also throat hit additives, which are usually capsaicins as far as I understand it. I've found enough TH with my current setup that I have yet to venture into that territory though.

Another reason you might keep lighting up a real cig is the fact that they have MAOIs in them. While an e-cig will give you your nicotine, it won't give you the other mood lifting chemicals found in cigs.

I too would love an E-Cig thread on here! More awareness means more potential people switching.

Just want to note to whoever said: they're not expensive to get started at all, because it's trivially easy to make your own out of a flashlight and a prewired connector you can order for two bucks. That's another reason I thought they'd be quashed.

I bought the Super Mini. I read it was a good place to start to find out what you like/don't like plus it's similar in shape and size to a real cig. But i found it's not powerful enough, the throat hit isn't good enough, and it's common to get some liquid on your lips which is pretty unpleasant.

I'm not actually a heavy smoker, a few a day max, but more when having a drink. So i got fed up standing outside pubs in the winter and in the rain and decidiced to invest. Plus i do actually like smoking, but i don't like dying, so e-cigs seemed like a good choice.

I smoke low nicotine cigs anyway so i've got medium (11mg/ml) and low (8mg/ml) juice.

I've been reading good things about the Tornado Tank and some of the new larger, more powerful ones on the market. I'd love to try before i buy though because I forked out on the Super Mini and although it was ok at first it just got annoying after a while. I feel i have to double draw it to get enough vape out of it and have tried dripping too with not much better results.
