Scientists have been on the verge of this breakthrough for a long time now - and it looks like they've finally done it. Things are going to start happening to me now!!

Before you get carried away, 1 this is a rumour, and 2 this is the Daily Mail.

Needs to be verified I guess. Seems the internal leaked note is though by some to be a hoax.

How about looking on the LHC CERN page?

Particles are only particles becuase of the act of observation.They are creating what they are looking for.

God, whatever that may be, is not a particle.

Even if this was a hoax, at least it is getting more attention to the attempt to find the higgs boson.

But I agree that would be great if they do come across a new discovery. Any theories on what else that thing might be capable of helping us learn?

Someone correct me if im wrong but is this Higgs Boson called the "God particle" because when they smash particles together the Higgs boson leaves our dimension?

Meaning that "God" could have literally created all out of nothing.
