MISRATA, Libya (Reuters) - The Libyan conflict is heading for stalemate, the top U.S. military officer said on Friday, and U.S. Senator John McCain urged the United States to recognize the rebels and transfer frozen Libyan funds to them.

ca.news.yahoo.com...

I think those 2 men have been at war too long, either now or in the past.

If these "rebels" somehow form a new government, not sure how that's even possible, but NATO will have a presence there for decades because they would be easily, IMO, persuaded by other regional terrorist groups.

If they do form a new government, the U.S./ UN will just appoint a puppet leader that sits by and watches us take the oil. The elites aren't going to pass this opportunity up.

I've said it before, John McCain is still fighting his own Vietnam War. He is such a war monger!!! I dread thinking what he would have gotten us into if he was elected. Countries need to stay out of civil war conflicts. A more stable peace and majority rule will only happen if the people over throw their own government.
