hope you are not accusing me as I was the fourth and eighth post trying to find out how genuine you where in the belief in your own theory.
It is easy for someone to come up with a theory for anything, what is hard is to stand by your own belief when questioned by others, If you are so sure, the neigh sayers should hold no power over your stance or belief, If however you doubt your own theory it may be time to re evaluate it.

If I had worked out a theory which I believed was correct, I would be shouting from the rooftops to make sure that those in danger would hear the message.

So my question to you is "how strong do you believe in your own theory?
and what are you going to do about getting the message out as 99% of those people that may be effected will have no idea what ATS is

Hahaha wait... You have 51 posts but you say your a true ATSer? How does that happen?

No need to register or post to be on ATS. You don`t know how long I`ve been on this forum, just how many posts I`ve made since I recently registered.
Also, the amount of posts a person has made bears no relevance to the validity of their opinion.

This thread is sensationalist, and when nothing drastic happens within the specified timeframe the scepticism shown by common sense responders to the OP will be vindicated. Although by then no doubt there will be a whole bunch of other hysterical threads on other subjects that will have overtaken.

Ahh no, that is just a partial list. With your smarts I don't understand how you just completely omit the JMA's records from your list. :shk:

There are many, many more smaller quakes you are not showing.

Basically TA because the JMA do not have a suitable web page for collecting data automatically as much of the information is spread across more than one page which makes automatic collection impossible.

Despite two emails to them to see it they have another source of data I have heard nothing. I just don't have time to troll around several; pages to get a few details for the smaller quakes.

Perhaps you would like to post the smaller ones, with all the relevant data - time in UTC, lat, lon, depth, mag, mag type, number of stations as a minimum?

It takes me all my time to keep up with the 4.5 ones and I get those automatically. They still have to be loaded into the database and then output to my wordpress blog(s) and KMZ files created, graphs created daily (I don't always have time for daily). All the data is then added to the world wide analysis and that is updated. It actually, when all areas are taken into account, takes many hours a day. On top of that since I collect USGS and EMSC data, sometimes the automated systemn I devised can't determine if a quake is the same on each list so that is flagged and I have to look at those as well. That alone can run to some time all around the world each day especially on a busy day. Then people want sound files!!!!!

That is a mite different from just looking at them.

Well I realize all that. But you can't just post the quakes like you did to illustrate a point without stating that the information is incomplete. Because it is. The fact that it is difficult to collect doesn't change the point. I happened to luck out on my first attempt at contact with them, and they did provide me with additional info. Since then however, I have not received a single response to any of my mail, including the link to this thread which I sent them.

They don't have time for speculators and information seekers, and given their situation, I can't say I blame them.

And btw, I expect you to shout from all rooftops worldwide every single theory, thread, website, and thought that you ever have in the future, or else you will be accused of attention seeking. Great, just thought we'd get that straight.

It was not illustrating any point at all TA simple showing what was going on in the Tokyo area. Note I did not comment on it or make any assertions. Purely for people to be informed. Note I did say that the data is USGS and EMSC. That means it is incomplete anyway!

Not quite sure I understand your drift there? Isn't shouting it from everywhere attention seeking?

According to another ATS post, the Facebook guy who predicted the first Earthquake using the Illuminati Card Game will change is profile picture to the Tokyo Tower card 11 hours before the next big one. It sounds like it might be coming soon. Keep a watch on the guy's Facebook page!.. assuming he's not full of BS.

There seem to be some difference between JMA and USGS/EMSC. JMA have some that USGS/does not. USGS and EMSC have some that JMA does not.

All in all I don't think the lack of JMA data makes a great deal of difference to my listing as they are showing very few that the others do not have.

The 6.1 that hit the Tokyo area is on Fox as "developing news", not many details as of yet:

www.foxnews.com...

DEVELOPING: TOKYO -- A 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck Japan late Thursday, shaking buildings in the capital Tokyo, the US Geological Survey said.

The quake struck at 10:37 p.m. local time in Chiba prefecture 40 miles east of Tokyo, at a depth of 26.7 miles.

Japan has been hit by a string of aftershocks since the 9.0 magnitude earthquake that struck March 11, unleashing a huge tsunami.

I doubt it caused much (if any) damage since Tokyo is hardened against earthquakes, but it does show that the activity over there is far from over.

My problem with your thread is that you're passing off what Japanese scientists have been saying since March 11th as your own work, to make yourself look like some kind of clairvoyant.

what threat just hit Tokyo? did I miss something? how big was the tsunami?

I will make a prediction, there will be another earth quake today in the Japan area today.

I have now completed looking at the two 7 day lists. To make this easier I converted all the USGS/EMSC to JSt and then if they existed in the JMA list I removed them. What we are left with is JMA=Both JMA and USGS, JMA*=JMA Only, JMA~=JMA and EMSC but not USGS, EMSC= EMSC only not JMA or USGS.

There are some very serious holes in this list where USGS has stuff and JMA does not - bigger quakes and JMA has stuff - smaller ones and USGS does not. (In view of one reader's comment may I make it clear the omissions by the USGS of the smaller ones is not important. The fact that JMA does not actually have many, many more is.)

There are some very serious holes in this list where USGS has stuff and JMA does not - bigger quakes and JMA has stuff - smaller ones and USGS does not.

It's right at the top of the USGS recent world earthakes

Latest Earthquakes in the World - Past 7 days

Worldwide earthquakes with M4.5+ located by USGS and Contributing Agencies.
(Earthquakes with M2.5+ within the United States and adjacent areas.)

If they posted everything over 2.5, you wouldn't be able to see most of the map in this part of the world.

I would suggest that you read the post and look at the quakes. I do not need you to tell me how the USGS operate their lists. That is NOT what I was talking about. You might also like to know that the 4.5 limitation is dropped sometimes to 4 or even lower for quakes that are reported as felt.

I was stating that there are some larger quakes not in the JMA list that are in USGS and vice versa. I am not concerned about the piddly ones - that is TAs area.

Edit: Oh by the way, you may use that USGS list - I do not - I use the 1.0+ 7 day text listing.

If they posted everything over 2.5, you wouldn't be able to see most of the map in this part of the world.

But they managed to post all the quakes of 1.0+ for Baja California and we could still see the map. Around 3000 of them on the map at any given time. Japan does not have a monopoly on large numbers of quakes.

How much in Kilo-Tons say the equvilent in A-Bombs since 3/10/11? Remember when USGS called it a 7.9 ,,gee that was off a tad. till today? I'm guessing 200-500 K/T easily.
