Looking for other opinions on this article/interview regarding conspiracies

Hi everybody. I saw this article on cnn which is essentially an interview with some "expert" regarding april and how there seems to be a lot of violent events that take place in the month (OK city bombings, columbine, VA tech shootings, the waco massacre, etc). They discuss whether these are linked and if so why. They also discuss why conspiracy theorists come up with their ideas. I for one think he makes conspiracy theorists out to be dimwitted and narrow minded because he claims they ignore facts and connect dots without evidence. Just wondering people's thoughts on the article.
