The royal wedding

Hey ya'all well yes looks like it's time for another prince to get married, well
i say good on them i wish them all the best for the future....

I never saw charles and di get married but i dont think i will watch this one
either....

At least we get time off work here in the UK.

Nice long Easter off for most of us.
If the weather is good (which it looks like it will be), I may even sit out in the garden and scratch my nuts while the wedding is on.

Actually I could send her out shopping while the wedding is on, as there wont be any cars on the roads then.

Damned right we get a day or two off...were paying for the whole deal anyway.
I know the royals are forking out for the ceremony,but the public purse pays for the police,who are sure to be very busy and very expensive on that day.

No offence to William and Kate mind you,they seem nice enough.

They're getting married this weekend? I had heard it was going to happen, but I didn't know when. Too bad I'll be busy ... washing my hair that day (which day is it?)

In all seriousness, I LOVED William's mother and I watched her wedding and death/funeral with great interest.

Is this wedding being aired? If so, maybe I'll catch some of it. I like looking at pretty wedding dresses.

Sorry for off topicness.

My ancestry is from Wales, and even though far removed (my family has been here since the early 1800's), I still kind of feel a bit for the old country and our ancestral home.

I also grew up around a lot of British culture, and spent some time there as a kid.

So, I'm sure I'll end up watching some of it. I don't think I can endure the marathon ceremony that was Charles and Di again though...but it's always nice to watch history happen.
