Is the President of the Czech Republic A Pen Stealer?

news.yahoo.com

As just about anyone who's ever worked in an office can attest, one of life's most festering annoyances are people who don't return pens that they borrow.

Now it appears as though Czech Republic President Vaclav Klaus may be one of those people, and the citizens of the nation he rules over are none too pleased about it.

You see, Klaus, whose most notable prior controversy was probably his flat rejection of climate change science—a position that he even appeared on Glenn Beck's show...

I'm not sure whether to laugh or wonder.

Was this a pen-thief or the next Monica Lewinski scandal?

You know to distract us from what is really going on.

Czech President steals pen in Chile?

Czech President?

Or check President?

Is this a word-play initiative in regards to our President?

No.

Those pens are personalized for each president to use and sign with and probably ARE gifts. My guess is that he did not want to draw attention to himself while the Chile president was talking. Boy that worked out great.

Can anyone say George Costanza?

Like I said it might all be a show and or distraction.

Or possibly an overexuberant media drawing false conclusions.

Could be both as well.

Sounds like the media is just trying to drag the man's name through the mud due to his rejection of climate change - gotta love how they threw that in there!

IM PISSED at yahoo!

Awesome you beat me too it. Though my whole point in starting a thread about this would have been merely to establish my first reaction upon reading the actual "headline".

Yes you see Yahoo news titles the link in this fashion: "Video of leader's sly maneuver creates stir"
With a photo of this guy doing at first glance what appears to be shutting off a microphone or hiding something important. Then I go and read the actual article and what my reaction??????

OH JESUS CHRIST!!?!?!?! Once again yahoo has done it's job at placing the most irrelevant BS on the front page like it's a G**Damed international crisis. IF they aren't force feeding you crap about some dude or women named Taylor swift their mind F*****G you with sly misdirection. I would love with all of my heart to shove that pen right up Yahoos Freaking YAHOO!

No thanks,... No thanks.

The pen could have DNA or fingerprints. Wikileaks exposed that Mrs. Clinton ordered retrieval of DNA and fingerprints from foreign diplomats and leaders. It was a trap that was avoided. Use your brains, people. Things like this is exactly why the Wikileaks-exposure was important. It showed that Americans have special motives for their actions. Perhaps this is a smear-campaign because he didn't fall in the trap?

Of course.

Yes, the media used an inflammatory byline, it's their style.

So could I, and you're most welcome, thievery or not it made the headlines.

I did not accuse him.

The media did.

Nope ... he doesn't steal pens. Although he ordered the Czech military to run nazi eugenics research around the country, by torturing and genetically modifying children in a renewed Nazi attempt to manufacture "Das Uebermensch"
