Part of the aircraft fuselage and engine[s] have been located and as the article also suggests, bodies (All be it, highly decomposed, no doubt) amongst the wreckage.
There is no word yet on the condition of the craft, however, if speculation is true and the aircraft did 'land' flat on the surface of the ocean, then one can only wonder what really occurred on flight AF-447.
The black boxes are still yet to be found, but current investigators have now reignited hopes.
