Life is a complicated subject and has made or makes some of the best minds of the human race cringe under the concept of it.
True. But I do like that essay. Life, non-life; becoming, decaying. Do we really need a line?
If you take that we are all star dust, created from a supernova, which is true, then the consciousness that let's us function originally comes from there, so in essence everything is life.
I think so too.
