This is bullspuffs! First off, she wanted to start the vacation time right away, so if it was even allowed, give the school/district a month or two's
warning to try and negotiate. It would work the same with a praggo teacher. Secondly, she gets time off for holidays. No one else would get time off
for other religious functions outside national holidays.
So I do believe she should be fired and receive no benefits purely on the fact that she didn't give a negotiation period. Causing undue stress to the
school to find a replacement plus dealing with this BS. In fact she should be sued for defamation.
If you're going to celebrate a religious holiday, give the school plenty of warning, the same amount of warning a preggo teacher has to give. And if
the school says it's not possible, well you aren't going to die from not seeing a wall of dirt or wherever the lady wanted to go. Pregnant mothers,
need time off for health reasons. Muslims, bitch like little sissys about religious discrimination and mental stress cause their poor immortal soul is
going to hell cause they cant visit an old wall.
They're going to be screwed when that wall is washed away by the sands of time.
