Just been reading this top 10 list on common misconceptions about the brain. A few familiar ones on here (the 10% myth, brain is grey..). I never knew the one about subliminal messages (I had a hunch though)

I'm gonna warn you now, even with sourced material, people will argue with you over these facts, especially the 10% Myth and the Right Brain/Left Brain Myth. I made a topic about many of these a while back and got plenty of people trying to tell me I was wrong.

It's funny how so many people believe some of these myths, like the: 10% myth, drugs causing holes in brain myth, and the alcohol killing neurons myth.
