What makes you more sane than others?

Hi there, folks, I wonder, what makes you more sane than other ATS members? I believe we all are insane to a certain degree, otherwise we wouldn't be here.
We all have our life stories, ghosts, ufos, aliens, abductions, government agents, time slips, alternate universes, slips into future, past, astral travel, etc.
And we all have our own beliefs. Some sound crazy, some not. But most do sound crazy .

So, guys, do you think you are insane, or sane? If sane, why do you think you are sane, and what makes you sane-r than the others?

I dont believe in any big religion, I am agnostic, I believe in reincarnation, ETs, UFOs, alternate realities, astral travel, ghosts, other dimensions and similiar stuff. I myself had some crazy experience in my life (mainly it had something to do with astral travel, ghosts and possibly ETs).
What is my opinion on myself? I am kinda crazy and I'm proud of it

I think a certain degree of insanity keeps you sane.You have to be crazy to be sane.One mans sane is another mans insanity.I hope this posted isnt insane.

I'm very sane. My father had me tested.

Seriously, although it was years ago, the shrink decided my father was the nutty one.




I think if you're able to accept the unexplainable, and move on without driving yourself crazy, it helps a little with staying sane also. Life should be taken with a grain of salt, just like the crazy theories that make the world go round and round.

I think the ability to do something and then be able to understand why you're doing it makes you sane. Not the ability to think and perform tasks but the ability to think about yourself and what you just did.

Very vague but a hard one to explain... Good thread though op.

If I wasn't a little crazy I would be board to death. Plus, I would be board to death being around absolutely sane people. Anyones idea of what is normal is always way off of reallity. No one is normal, and thank God. We would all just die of boredom. You can always tell a sane person, because the first thing they start a conversation with is the weather and the conversation just keeps going down hill form there. And people should definitely not take drugs to try to get sane. The drugs make you think you are even crazier than you are and if you just stop taking them at once you just go completely out of your mind. Be proud you are not normal, if you were no one would want anything to do with you unless they wanted a weather report.

The majority of insane people would want to stay far away from the topic,so they couldnt be identified as insane

I think it may be a fable or story.

"a man wakes up and ever one in his village is acting crazy.
when they pass him they point and laugh.
and jump around and gibber.
as the weeks pass he feels more and more lonely.
he is the only one when has a dug well.
the rest drink from the stream.
so he gets sick of being the odd one out.
and starts drinking from the stream.
after that every thing is normal again..."

it is the majority who says what is normal...
is the majority are insane.
then insane is normal.

Behaving like an "adult" is insanity! Children are sane! They are always happy and go with the world. They need no rules to live by, because they're not hysterically afraid of everything around them. They don't judge the other because he looks different (at least before the adults can poison their minds). Every Adult who says he likes going to work, although in reality he is forced to is insane. Nearly every adult is insane in my eyes. I'm 27 and I don't feel like I would have to behave like I am someone else, just to fit into the picture of the insane majority...

Psychologists, by the way, are Doctors trained to make sane people insane...
