Because they closed the thread that was talking about a tsunami in California...

They put out a tsunami warning today for Southern California. Riverside Area.

where did you see the warning at? just curious because i dont see one at hisz.rsoe.hu...

I didn't see it. I heard it on the radio.

I think they are mistaken. I think they mean tornado not tsunami even though they said it twice in a row.

that would make more sense since i don't see any quakes that would cause the tsunami, in the data banks.

Some type of geophysical event will in deed create a problem from Southeastern Alaska to Washington State
where the water levels suddenly decrease in the boat harbors. Not much time for those in the area to flee.

My advice is to make sure your boat is near and close enough to get out of the harbor.

Yeah I got a lot of friends and family in Petersburg AK.
Keeping an eye out although they are all saying everything is ok.

Last I heard Craig, Alaska was under the Tsunami alert which should have reached em 25 minutes ago.

Didn't he predict this perfect storm that's happening right now?

9: One of the biggest headlines of the year reads “Storm Of The Century”. Storm causes fury like no other effecting several different states and/or countries. Storm leaves a path of destruction like never before. I can see aerial views that look like miles and miles of complete destruction. I can only imagine that this path of destruction would have been caused by many tornadoes at the same time and/or extremely strong winds. A summer storm I believe.

Not a "Summer" storm but it's happening.
