i live in metro vancouver nicely placed by the cascadia subduction zone
after seeing a lot of footage from christchurch and now japan are there any general tips on survival,
minutes to days after, I could easily google it but to have it here would be much appreciated.
It is kinda scary living in an earthquake zone...everytime I hear about a big quake somewhere in the world I wonder how long it's going to be til a
big one hits here. Sometimes I think I must be crazy for living here. I love the area so much though, I think it's worth the risk..
I made a thread a while ago that has a lot of info about being ready for a quake: Preparing for an earthquake
One thing I've been trying to spread the word about is that "triangle of life" method...it bothers me that people are still promoting it, even
though most experts say it's dangerous.
