Richard Stana, the Government Accountability Office’s director of homeland security and justice issues, told a U.S. House Subcommittee that the GAO had determined that the Border Patrol has “controlled” only 129 miles of the 1,994-mile-long U.S.-Mexico border,

Well, a government report is saying they only control 129 miles of 1994 mile border. This should clear up for everyone why Arizona wants to pass legislation to enforce their borders and why they are suing the federal government for not protecting the borders. If the billions pumped into department of homeland security is not even going to the one job that they are supposed to do, it is safe to say it is an unnecessary agency. Get rid of homeland security and legalize Border residents protecting their own property. American citizens can do a better job than border patrol.

That means that there are about 373 miles of U.S. Mexico border where the U.S government not only fails to consistently detect an illegal entry, but that those illegal entries will never be caught—even 100 miles north of the border.

Maybe if they cared more about protecting the border instead of sending troops to Egypt and the middle east, American citizens wouldn't be getting arrested for protecting their property situated on a border. As this article points out when an Arizona rancher almost had to pay 32 million to illegal immigrants who crossed the border onto his property. www.washingtontimes.com...

This also exposes the lie of the government trying to protect the US from terrorism. How easy is it for Islamic jihadists to carry a dirty bomb or biological weapons over that unprotected border?

If Homeland inSecurity was sexually molesting illegals crossing at the border rather than American grandmothers and children in the airports, we might want to take Big Sis' "see something, say something" nonsense for real. Alas, terrorism is just the Federal government's excuse for unconstitutional police state actions, emotional and mental manipulation and physical abuse of the American people. Americans are the domestic terrorists now. We terrorize the Feds by talking about the constitution and resisting their police state "progress."
