Boss Forced To Sell Home For 'Thief's' Payout

I know when i was serving along the South Armagh border, now and again we'd see someone walking through town, black and blue with a sign around their neck saying what crime they had done. Usualy something like vandalism in the village or something.

They didn't do it again in a hurry.

The law abiding side of me says thats vigilantiism and is going over the top. The other side of me says alls fair when your justice system has gone to the dogs.

Totally agree. Egypt was a good case in point because when the police disappeared people were being attacked in their homes and places of business. So the people formed community groups to keep each other safe. Has to be done sometimes. Even then though it would be nice to believe that justice would be within reason.
