Helicopter Down

Just in from MSNBC a U.S. marine helicopter has just gone down. The current condition of the marines on board has not yet been announced to the public. Information will be provided as it developes.

Information has just came in the helicopter was a two rotor heavy life chopper named the CH-46D Sea Knight. This helicoptor crashed in firendly territory, Kuweit. On board was a crew of British Commandos and U.S. Air Crew. As of this moment there possible casualties on board, with no survivors.

4 U.S. Air Crew Deaths
12 British Commado Deaths

JB1 and NavalSpec have opposite figures. So which way did this go?
Either way it sucks though.

That is what CBS just said too.

Well, if it was a US chopper (), it would stand to reason that the 4 would be the flight crew...It wouldn't take 12 to pilot a chopper. Logical deduction concerning the contradicting reports...

Shortly after posting the above, I ran across a BBC news article about the chopper crash: news.bbc.co.uk...

It mentions 8 British Marine Commandos & 4 American troops (They havn't mentioned anything specific about the Americans...Go figure ).
They've also mentioned that these are the first officially confirmed deaths on our side since the war started.
