Making Smart Materials - Nova

I saw this Nova special last night and was blown away by the recent innovations! I love these science shows and especially ones that cover new tech that will really make a difference in our world. I also enjoy the approach of mimicking the grandest of designers, nature herself. This one has stuff I have never heard of and is truly awe inspiring. Highest recommendations!!

I am a biological sciences student at the university of guelph and love to learn and imagine how to do exactly these things.
Mother nature teaches so much, she is efficient and precise in working flaws out over millions of generations.
If we want to do amazing things as presented in this video, looking to mother nature is exactly it, whether it is on the largest scale or a quantum scale the possibilities will never cease to amaze myself and others that care to put the time in.
