I don't think the show was really live..
It was in Fed Square which is open air..
On the windows behind you could see outside...

I saw no rain yet in Melbourne it is currently pouring down and has been for ages..

From what I understand, Julian's speech was recorded and then aired during this press conference. I think it was recorded yesterday but Im not really sure.

Edit - He had to do his speech from the UK because of his bail conditions.

It had to be live because they were talking about the rain as it started - in regards to the crowd. I didn't watch it though, so I didn't look at the windows.

The reason you dont support Assange is because it makes you feel uncomfortable about your own contribution (or lack there of) to the betterment of the world.
