strange object

My name is Cherily. I was simon's friend who text him asking if he had seen this object. At first I thought it may have been a helicopter cause the double glazing dull's out most sound but because of how loud and how long it went on for I opened my window to hear the loudest sound I have ever heard. There was a rounded light which i can only assume was from the middle of it possibly.The object itself I am unsure of due to lack of sight in pitch black, but it hovered around about 3 - 6 metres away from my flat, dissapeared in land and then at extreme speed flew out towards france.

I was actually unsure of where Simon was but for a percurliar reason felt I had to text him, thinking he may be able to see it.
