Would it be strange to have a green tongue show up under florescent light, yet look normal under regular light? Or is this a common thing to happen?

What do you mean by normal light? Flourescent lighting gives a spectrum that to me appears "normal". Incandescent light seems abnormal and infrared only seems to work when I wear my goggles.

Florescent light as in 'office light'.

Normal light as in 'a common household lamp'.

Nah, this is normal man. At uni we did something similar, but we made our tongues purple.
