Would it be strange to have a green tongue show up under florescent light, yet look normal under regular light?
Or is this a common thing to happen?

What do you mean by normal light? Flourescent lighting gives a spectrum that to me appears "normal". Incandescent light seems abnormal and infrared only seems to work when I wear my goggles.

Florescent light as in 'office light'.
*not to be confused with a blacklight!*
Normal light as in 'a common household lamp'.

Nah, this is normal man. At uni we did something similar, but we made our tongues purple.
