USDA deregulates GE alfalfa; opens door to new era of widespread genetic pollution of crops

www.naturalnews.com

(NaturalNews) After months of pretending to review public feedback on the issue of GE alfalfa, the USDA has announced a surprise lifting of all restrictions on the genetically engineered crop, effectively allowing anyone to plant GE alfalfa anywhere, without any restriction. This is the USDA's surrender to Monsanto, and it signifies the beginning of a new era of widespread genetic pollution of North America's crops and ranch animals (which eat those crops).

This is not good these thugs just continue to move ahead with thier agenda despite anything anyone does to stop them. I am surprised farmers have not gotten together and burned any fields they know of that have these crops.

Here is another snippet from the article:

Even though the USDA recently admitted in its Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) that GE alfalfa may pose a risk to both organic farmers and conventional farmers (www.centerforfoodsafety.org...), the agency suddenly and without scientific justification decided to remove all restrictions and allow Monsanto to regulate itself!

Can you say "paid off"? if you are politically connected you can do anything you want no matter how it hurts or how many you kill in the process. Even if you risk killing the earth's food supply.
