3 shot at Gardena High School; gunman still at large

latimesblogs.latimes.com

Three people were shot at Gardena High School on Tuesday morning, according to police. [Updated at 11:13 a.m.:An earlier version of this article incorrectly said the shootings occurred Wednesday]

The shooting occurred about 10:30 a.m. on the campus at 1300 W. 182nd St. The condition of the victims was not known, and it's unclear what sparked the violence.

Lt. Steve Prendergast said officers were on the scene investigating what happen. The school was placed on lockdown.

It's unclear whether the victims or the suspect were students. The gunman is still at large.

As the article states, the gunman is still at large.

They believe the shooter to be a 13-15 year old student.

Lots of police on scene obviously, Fox is covering this live if anyone is interested.

The police have a weapon used by the shooter, lets hope it was the only one.

Thats real young for a shooter isn't it? Even though these school shootings happen now and again, i've not heard of a gunman being that young before.
