Three Palestinians injured in IAF Gaza strike

The IDF is yet to confirm what seems to be an assassination attempt on Hamas terrorists.
Earlier, defiant Palestinians launched another two Kassam rockets toward Sderot, but they were out of range and fell harmlessly in the fields.

Palestinians surmised the blast was caused by an Israeli helicopter firing missiles at the car.

But Palestinian security are also checking the possibility the explosion was caused when a bomb detonated prematurely in the Mercedes-Benz vehicle in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City.

Television footage, meanwhile, indicated the blast may have been caused by a mechanical fault.

Television footage showed an oil spill extending about 30 meters behind the vehicle. The explosion, which injured three bystanders, was confined to the vehicle's engine and the windscreen was intact.

There was no sign of a missile impact such as the missile fragments or shrapnel holes usually found on the scene of helicopter attacks
