See, the way I was raised is that YOU take care of YOU.

Yes, my parents fed me, clothed me and made me go to school. I left home at 15. No state assistance, no federal assistance and no parental assistance. Also, no college. Lots of working in restaurants, bars, and hotel front desks. I drink. I smoke. I pay taxes. I pay my bills. All without government help.

That was 24 years ago. I have paid my own way since I was 15. I have a full time job. It pays for healthcare. I still don't use it. Just got married last year, so it's not like I had anyone to pay my way until now.

Why is it so hard for people to be responsible for themselves? I mean my God, if I can do it, anyone can.
