Why does the government continually bail out the banks?
Several years ago I asked myself this question, and it was before i started researching the corruption in the banking system and the US government, now I've realized so much more.

If somebody with no knowledge of potential conspiracies, common sense would tell us that we should put bailout money into the industries that are going to create jobs and put Americans to work, such as:

The Auto Industry.
The Airline Industry.
Construction projects, ie: antiquated road systems.
Hospitals, Education (schools) etc

Instead, billions of dollars are given to something that has no true value or substance, they are simply imaginary numbers.

Weather or not the economy goes up or down, Entities such as Goldman Sachs will profit it from it. If the economy sinks, it will simply flip the bad credit, and sell it to outsiders. Either way the banks are making money.

I found this clip, Re: Jesse Ventura investigating this scenario.
The whole program is interesting, but here's a clip of it.

The government is basically allowing these corporations to do this, and they are working hand in hand profiting from each other.
I believe both Republicans, and Democrats are equally involved.
The same guys that were in charge the U.S. economy, during the Bush administration, are the same ones now working under the Obama administration : Paul Bernanke

Is this happening to take control of the American citizens? To distract us from what's really going on, while were debt stricken and just trying to survive? How is this happening? Why are the ultra rich getting richer, and everyone else poorer?

The only value of money is the value people put into it. Without it trade would stop and civilisation could fall back into a barbarian culture as the shops dry up and security falls apart. What money is good for is balancing the opposing forces of supply and demand. However this has gotten seriously out of balance lately. All around the world the problems with financial conflict and comprehension is reaching a tipping point. There are two main options:

1/ All work together to build a sustainable economy
2/ All fall apart and back into the dark ages

The challenges are large, the main one is if we have the responsibility to step up to it.

it's nothing more than wealth re-distribution.
Taking away the public's wealth and giving
it to the elite so when the common people
die off in the catastrophes, the elites have
the greatest chance of survival.

Pretty simple really

These multi billion dollar corporations and finanical institutions convinced tax payers and their government they must socialise (bail out) their losses and debt.... Socialise the losses and debts (with your tax dollars) for the multi billion dollar corporations and finanical insitutations

Capitalism / socialism double speak in all its glory, in all its magic... the largest international high way robbery in broad day light right under the populus noses ... Beautiful Really

Google legal tender laws, you will be amazed.

Why cannot I, as an individual, request that I be paid in something that does NOT devalue the instant I am given it?

Oh that would be the banksters idea.

There were some big investigations going on in WT7 during 9/11. All these cases has since disappeared that I know about. It has taken a long time to get into this position.
