Iraqis refused inquiry over alleged abuse by UK troops

www.bbc.co.uk

Two judges upheld Defence Secretary Liam Fox's refusal to order a wide-ranging investigation, but said one could be "required in due course".

Mr Fox argued one was unnecessary as any abuse had been carried out by "a few bad apples" and was not systemic.

Lawyers for the Iraqis said they would appeal against the decision.

Human tragedies are going to happen on both sides in any war. I will condone non on any side. The only comment I can really make about this maby it won't happen in the future. Meaning if people try to learn from what is happening now maby it can be stopped in the future. Although that has been said many times before, to little avail.

What?? You mean it wasn't the "evil Americans" doing this?
Now the haters can bash the UK for a bit and give the U.S. a break.....

There should be an inquiry frankly, and those responsible should be named and prosecuted.

We should be doing things properly, if we are the beacon of democracy that we claim to be.

Its a sad day when things like this happen.
