Congress should divest from defense stocks, Bush appointee says

Members of Congress ought to divest from companies that hold military contracts with the US government, a former Senate appointee that served in the Bush administration, said in a recently published report.

"I am frankly surprised they are allowed to have these investments," Gordon R. England, a deputy defense secretary that served in the Pentagon from 2006-2009, told The Washington Post.

Boy is THIS ever an issue worth looking into and fully exposing...

Wanna know WHY Big Brother seems to always love starting one war after another? Look no further!

Congress is PROFITEERING off all these wars! Many of them are shareholders in war industry mega-corporations.

So they are sending our brothers and sisters off to die to LINE THEIR POCKETS, pure plain and simple.

This should be the subject of wikileak material, and every last one of these senators voting for wars they profiteer off of should have their arses kicked right out of washington ASAP, at the very least.

But as we can see, they just CONTINUE on these worthless wars (because they are anything BUT worthless to them) and keep trying to get us into new ones. All in the name of insatiable greed.

Ugh.

I don't understand how congress or people in government are allowed to also be a part of mega corporations. That is a major conflict of interests. It should disqualify them from holding positions of power.
