The reference in Surah 18 is "Dhul-Qarnain" (he of two horns) refers to a PERSON. Possible real life identification goes from Cyrus the Great to Messiah ben Joseph, but the most common interpretation is that it is referring to Alexander the Great.

Also, sorry, but your understanding of the word "Hajj" is totally broken as well. It doesn't mean "sorcery" at all in any sense. "LITERALLY", in arabic, sorcery is "sihr". "Hajj", literally means pilgrimage. It even has a cognate in hebrew (h-j, het-gimel), meaning holiday or festival or celebration (like the passover).
