Problem with the news submission form?

I just submitted a news story with the new form (which is excellent) but all the links I entered became messed up. I entered links in the way that you only see the title, not the url, as usual but when the thread was posted they didn't turn out that way. For example the ats threads only had www. plus the number of the thread and nothing else. Am I doing something wrong or is it the form?

EDIT: I fixed all the links manually btw.

The external link fields don't seem to support the BB code, but the 'ATS discussion' fields automatically put the thread title in when you paste the full URL in the blank, so you have a titled link for the article.

Ahh... it does it automatically. Thanks spectre, I didn't know that.

Does it do the same for the news threads? It does look neater to just have the source rather the full url on show; does it do that automatically too?

Anyway, It'd probably be an idea for this to be pointed out in the 'New ATSNN Submission Form' thread.
