Venus just had the mother of all solar flares nail it:
There you can see the big swirly coming off the left side of the sun towards Venus. A big asteroid struck the sun in previous frames.

Try to pull up data for the past few days. Nothing but 2 photo's per day released...selectively picked.....
They're hiding something.......I think Comet Holmes when it blew up in the solar system in 2007 (explosion bigger than the sun) blew the snot out of
the Asteroid Belt and we've got crap flying all over causing a ruckus.
Venus just took a beating.
