You would not be in any serious danger if it collapsed while you were in there.

You enter the dome through revolving doors so that air doesn't rush out. After the game is over, to facilitate the exiting of the crowd, the normal doors are opened and a strong rush of air actually blows you out the doors. It' fun.

Thanks for adding this information! It makes this sound less horrifying to know it was designed like this, and for safety's sake.

VIDEO OF ROOF COLLAPSE

Here is a video of the actual collapse. That looked like it could have had the potential to hurt someone on the field.

I think I noticed someone IN THE STADIUM on this video, running away quickly when it began to go.

Should I say another video, thanks to AGGIEMAN for posting a video of this on the first page!

I was thinking the same thing but didn't want to add insult to injury...not a good year for Vikings fans!

Good to hear that it didn't happen during a game

the safety is supposed to be an ongoing thing
from the original design to the on going structural analysis
and wear inspections

who ever is responsible for NOT taking care of business
should be sued out of existance
and criminally charged with what ever is avaliable.
