Wanted: Earth Elected Alien Representative

Don't ask how or why this just came to mind but I did a search and couldn't find another thread so hear it is.

If aliens decided to come and visit the planet and we had to choose, who should be the one to communicate with them first, on an official level?
All country, religious, scientific elected officials will have an agenda. Is there truly an objectively minded individual that we can elect to fill this position as a world representative?

I can't think of one. . .

Not many "senior" members of our society spring to mind, after-all, they probably got there by being completely ruthless, having no morals and generally doing whatever they had to. I suspect a few of the Americans would say Ron Paul. As an Englishman, I cannot think of any, so I'll just say him

I suspect Mr. Obama would probably be the realistic and obvious front-runner, though. That alone speaks volumes about our society today.

Really though, the person or people that TPTB would use, would be a disaster IMO, with the agenda's etc.

That's probably why most abductees are just regular folk!

Probably anyone assigned by the US/UK should not have first contact, I can think if drug addicts that would get on better with an alien species....

Maybe Jimmy Carter? He seems to have settled into the international humanitarian/peacemaker role quite well, and to be a man of real principles. This could, in a sense, qualify him for the post you suggest. Also, I think he was genuinely troubled that he couldn't keep his promise to reveal all that was known about UFOs, once he became president. 'They' simply wouldn't let him! Ross

If we are really worried about them coming here and possibly being "offended" by the representative of mankind - they already will be. They've got a birds eye view of a big stain on a pretty blue planet.

IF there are aliens then i say the people should talk to them first. i kinda bealeave in aliens but there are a lot of different theories to who or what they are like GOVERNMENT(WANT TO TAKE MORE OF OUR RIGHTS LIKE THE PATRIOT ACT SO THEY ARE GONNA FABRICATE AN ALIEN ATTACK AND ARE GOING TO PUT MILITARY IN THE US STREETS, demons/demon hybrids (WANT TO BREAK YOUR FAITH AND FABRICATED EVIDENCE SO YOU DONT BELEAVE IN GOD), AND A LOT OF OTHER THEORIES
