Doesn't he already have enough Cash in reserve?

WikiLeaks sold classified intel, claims website's co-founder

www.wnd.com

"Well, it only came up in the topic of raising $5 million the first year. That was the first red flag that I heard about. I thought that they were actually a public interest group up until then, but as soon as I heard that, I know that they were a criminal organization."

I still think its bull, we do not know if thats all his money lol.

Just read it on the news, and wham we believe do we?

Seems to me they are building up his credability, not trying to destroy it.

I think Wikileaks are playing TPTB's own game against them.
Just as Douglas Adams says "the president is there to draw attention away from those who are really in power". I think Assange's role is to keep their attention while his associates work under-wraps.

That's what I hope, at least. I seem to be doing that a lot recently..

Do you really believe that TPTB are ignorant of the other players in this game? They have been playing this game much longer and they have the means to go after the head and center of body mass all at once. They are, and will continue their aggressive prosecution of this file whether Assange or anybody else is involved.

They will get him and his associates. Probably in the news for Assange, in prisons or in the coffin for his unnamed cohorts.

perhaps. just seems a bit odd that people get put in prison and carted off to guatanamo for alot less than that. lol not saying i want him to be carted off anywhere, mind you. just wondered why it hasn't dawned on the majority who are paying attention, that he's been alot more fortunate than most people on the planet. lol

arrest warrant for Assange has been received by british police.

www.bbc.co.uk...

Meanwhile, a warrant for Mr Assange's arrest has reached the UK authorities. Sources have told the BBC that the European Arrest Warrant for Mr Assange arrived on Monday afternoon.

he'll probably get to live out his days on some tropical island that isn't on any of the maps, right along with saddam and osama, sipping margaritas with little umbrellas. : D

i dunno. stuff like this just seems too conveniently planned to be believable.

Alot of people are in gitmo, just for someone not liking them, and they rang up america for a reward. Alot of the people in gitmo have done nothing to america.

YET.....

That very same public will either believe everything that's leaked as if it's the gospel truth if it paints the US in a bad light then turn right around and deny the contents of the leaks that does not paint the US in a bad light and runs contrary to internet pop-culture view of the US because Wiki is actually a CIA front.

So which is it public?

I wish the public would get their story straight.

They may want all the info released at once.

There was a case in SA where wikileaks tried to auction off some files and story, and it was a real pain. They were trying to make sure that whoever got them, would really USE them and give them good top headlines.
Well the auction was a mess, though papers were bidding, and there was some dissent about maybe we should not make money like THIS, and so they just dumped all the files. I think it was 15k of them.

They were ignored! No newspaper ran them at all.

I learned quit quickly with the Iraq files that it was just so many. I read and read and read, but doggone it, most were not that important, and after enough time to finish the Harry Potter books, I just quit.

well i tend to agree that when it paints the US in a bad light, it's just reiterating what is obvious to people who think: et.al, governments are known to do crazy stuff to protect themselves. it took some 60 years for it to finally come out that stalin was even worse than hitler. that's an example of damage control, par excellence'.

Those arbiters of morality the Swiss Banks have frozen Assange's accounts? I wonder what he has on them, other than the Nazi Gold, FIFA accounts, etc.

Time to release the key to the encrypted file and hand himself into the authorities, trouble is which ones...

Exactly.

Knowledge is power and those with the knowledge hold the power.

You see any of us could come up with any of those leaks, as most are gossipy things people would say behind the scenes.

Putin even said the west is very good at brainwashing there public. You see again knowledge is power, and its showing it again.

For me wikileaks is just some sort of psy op. Maybe some truths somehwere in there, but most garbage for me.

well if there's nothing negative in them about leaders of arabic nations or communist countries, you can rest assured he'll be seeking asylum from the socialist side of the block, although in the US, that's just about everybody.

shhh, don't tell anyone but we're really a socialist country in which the leaders all pretend there are 2 choices: 1) democrats (socialists) and republican (socialists). when it's time to do something negative and seemingly "capitalist" (cause people truly have no idea what true capitalism is), the repubs take the reins and pretend it's a big capitalistic move. thereby pushing the populous ever more towards the left. been going on for YEARS. that assange is some heroic figure for bringing down the "man" and the corporations, is a complete joke. lol as far as i can tell, what we're seeing now is determining who gets to make all the money.... and who does not.

The "public" is not a joint hivemind that shares the same opinions and views on all topics

You're both setting up a strawman and attacking it with a tu quoque in an amazing logical fallacy double whammy.

listen, i don't know what planet you people live on, but on planet earth, when you even look at some guy on the street the wrong way you can end up in a great deal of trouble. that this guy has managed to get away with what he has already, suggests it's all part of the plan and if you think otherwise, you might want to rethink your position.

You make a very valid point. I have known people to be beaten to within an inch of their life for owing the wrong person money, simply looking at someones wife, "talking behind someones back", etc. And that is just by ordinary citizens, imagine what the govt could do to someone if they wanted. Look what is happening to Iranian physicists (3 professionally assisinated with the same MO and attempt on a 4th).

If they wanted him dead, they would have arranged a nice little "accident" for him long ago, or something subtle like radiation poisoning so that he becomes sick, frail, and slowly dies.

Since he is in perfect health and literally giving live webcasts on a weekly basis, it seems like he literally has a part to play in all of this.

who is "you're both" ? i dunno. there are so many logical fallacies and strawmen on this topic, it's pretty pointless. i quit even paying attention to anything julian said, the moment i realized he had carte blanche for a very long time. nobody gets away with that kind of stuff, for that long, unless they're supposed to be doing it.

and then Assange gets shot in the head... Miraculously recovers and receives unparalleled support for his cause. He is seen as the light in the dark and then WOAAAAAAAH lookout he's the anti christ! haha I know.. not likely.. but I think he would be the perfect kinda candidate, don't you? He has that certain something about him, a bigger than the world complex, which is good if he's a good guy... but bad if he is not.

The insurance file is the be and end all. Assange is a puppet, a puppet that has to be seen to be totally cornered with no way of escape so he can release the "Big One". What will it contain? who knows, but it could be meant to make us rebel worldwide. End game = military rule and we are all classified as terrorists.

Please dont be fooled by Assange. He is a bit player, an actor playing a role. Remember, the insurance file release has to be believeable and the attacks on Assange are all part of the magicians trick.
