DARPA developing flying car

DARPA and Terrafugia are developing a flying humvee to be used by troops in Afghanistan.

The remarkable vehicle known as the Transformer (or TX) can work as a conventional road-going transport and then take off in to the air using helicopter rotor blades, it is believed that it could be ready for use by troops as early as 2015.

Here is another great example of a flying car: www.moller.com... It doesnt have wheels like the car you linked to, but it might work on the road with some modification.
