Not quite true.

What happened is TOO many people like secure union jobs in government producing nothing of value, so the people who actually produce goods that have value have to pick up the slack for the people who produce nothing of value.

Agreed, you put what I was trying to say in a more susinct way.

Interesting replies.. And thank you for keeping things civil overall good to see that civil discourse is still alive.. As to how I earn my living for the busybodies I worked as a Doctor and earned my money . Im semi retired now only provide medical service for the local villagers if they need it which isnt too often as theyre a healthy lot. I dont get a damn thing from the u.s and dont want a damn thing from the u.s. And my concern is due to the fact that the actions of your government affect people worldwide.. And tbh am bit pissed that nearly 40 years after the war ended here I still at times have to put people back together who stumbled over unexploded american ordinance.. Have worked on way too many over the years who got blown up trying to clear fields to farm so that they could provide for their families.. So yes the actions of the criminals you elect do have an effect on all of us worldwide.. Apologies for the rant..
