Marlon Brando dies this morning.

[CBS 5 News, Phoenix)--The man called the greatest actor of all time has died. CBS 5 News has learned Marlon Brando passed away Thursday in Los Angeles. Brando may be best known for his roles in "The Godfather" and "On the Waterfront". He won oscars for his work in those 2 films. The cause of death is still unknown. Marlon Brando was 80 years old...


They say things happen in threes, including deaths this is the most recent spate. I don't remember anybody speculating about Marlon Brando. I think we all got stuck in the Ray. The world is poorer for the loss of these three men.

This was posted way early on ATS - somewhere else - can't remember where (I was on around 5 a.m.) and they are just NOW - at 11:23 a.m. EST- interrupting regular programming on TV with 'breaking news'!

Unbelievable that it's on ATS before the news stations even have it! There was no mention of it on any of the major networks (that I saw) or cable news... weird..

Anyway, may Brando rest in peace - poor broke old man
