It does sounds like Tesla was taking us in the direction of a Type 1 Civilization.

No one knows.

Was this before or after Tunguska cause Tesla might have tried or is this

I'm continuing to check out the documents and have not yet seen the lab destruction
impact on the flow of patents and documents.
Just did not web search for the date yet.
See Tesla's publications after 1900 and realize that Tesla did transmit power by radio .
The method also involved sound or pressure waves at the speed of light.
Perhaps the buildup of waves from his airship does power the ship.
So wireless radio power is not popular and his airship can't be disclosed.

Did not check for the patent using liquid air for decreased wire resistance
and not for super magnetism which is another official misuse of Tesla
technology. There is no escape from their misdirection. away from
voltage and electric field.

No publications that year but 1894 had none as well.

Yes Radio operated as Tesla only did.
Must be two way to turn the knob.
This was divulged in his testamony to Counsel in 1916.

Seemingly we can get all the energy we need from the air for free.
Then pump it onto the ground and air until we want to use it.

Any thing else did Tesla do.
He made a space ship.
Yet there is no place to go.

Here is a couple of news paper article from the New York times (1985) mentions the fire briefly, also says Tesla was working on something big - news.google.com...

and another one with more detail - query.nytimes.com...
This one says he worked with 15 other men, it would be interesting to know who these other men were.

I found this from 1931:

Talking to me about these experiments recently, Dr. Tesla revealed that he had made a number of surprising discoveries in the high-frequency electric field and that, in the course of these experiments, he had become convinced that he propagated frequencies at speeds higher than the speed of light.

In his patent No. 787,412, filed May 16, 1900, Tesla showed that the current of his transmitter passed over the earth’s surface with a speed of 292,830 miles per second, while radio waves proceed with the velocity of light. Tesla holds, however, that our present “radio” waves are not true Hertzian waves, but really sound waves.

He informs me, further, that he knows of speeds several times greater than that of light, and that he has designed apparatus with which he expects to project so-called electrons with a speed equal to twice that of light.

But by far the better way—the ideal way—would be to reach sufficiently high frequencies. The higher the frequency the slower would be the exchange of the air, and I think that a frequency may be reached at which there would be no exchange whatever of the air molecules around the terminal. We would then produce a flame in which there would be no carrying away of material, and a queer flame it would be, for it would be rigid! With such high frequencies the inertia of the particles would come into play.

One big problem for us humans there is no where to go.
