There is no way to delete accounts here. Even if you are banned your profile will still show up with the word "banned" on it.

Sorry, but ATS is forever!

you're dying for someone to ask, so I'll do it, why do you want to delete your account?

The question is more Why do you want to quit?

What happenned? Why the feeling that you need to delete your profile?

Did someone hack the account, and you are scared of posts that is not you?

Otherwise u2u a mod and ask for assistance.

No, what I said is exactly right. You cannot delete a profile once it is created here, regardless of level of butt-hurtitude.

Well.. I get slowly Headache.
First of course you can quit a member ship, Above Top Secret is not the Sicilian Mafia.
The question is how to do that.. and its seems everyone has not an Idea.. I'm asking for because its a semantic thought! (from an Programmer's viewpoint). Other people can use my Nick, the server has more space.. and the MySQL database has no dead accounts any more.

Headaches abound today... But since you simply assume that long time members are clueless, allow me to direct you to sources...

Thread about this very subject with explanations and cool diagrams.

Wrong. Your reasons are totally relevant. We don't need to know, but the TAN management does.

In the site's Terms and Conditions -- there's a link to them on every page -- it says in section 15m:

15m.) Termination: In the event your account or access privileges are terminated for any reason, your information and Posts will not be removed unless there is a violation of the Terms and Conditions of Use and the Terms and Conditions of Membership. Requests for voluntary "account deletion" and removal of your content will not be honored without a reasonable reason, provided in writing, to TAN.

So, you need to contact TAN via their "Contact Us" link. This allows you to send them an Email. The link is also shown on every page. Give a "reasonable reason" why you want your account deleted and if they choose, they can delete your account.

You can not dis enroll as a member of ATS.

You can only stop coming to the site.

You can go to your profile and remove all information about yourself if you have created one.

There are tens of thousands of people who have created member accounts and never posted even one time.

There are just as many who have never came back after a period of time.

ATS depends on new members just to stay viable.

If ATS stopped excepting new members it would just peter out.
