www.geekosystem.com

The evangelical cult “Paz do Senhor Amado” (“Peace of the beloved Lord”) in the interior of Brazil forbids its followers to use any USB technology by contending that it uses a symbol that shows sympathy for the devil.

Interesting...
What else is a symbol of the devil?

What about SATA Drives?
Just a 'N' away from Satan

Ethernet, very close to Ether
IDE = close to Devil

Firewire... the word fire is there perhaps denoting hell

lol
Pretty funny, I guess we shouldn't use USB anymore
Quite alot of other things that have the Devil in it too it seems

I recall that story when a lady who was a Unix developer showed up in a bar deep down South, in a T-shirt with a Unix logo, a little red devil (daemon) with a trident. Almost got her a@@ kicked.

The iPad has no USB ports to prevent evil satanic pirates from swapping demonic transmissions.
I wonder whether the church has received a donation from the Apple marketing department?
Just kidding. Sort of.

I second that, compatriota.

In Brazil, the evangelicals could easily be described as the most "radical" among all religious people out here.
What they lack in numbers (around 15% of general population, against 73% catholic), they have in eloquence.

Peace

The USB logo was inspired by Neptune's trident. So I guess Roman mythology is giving sympathy to the devil?

That sounds ridiculous.
