Would that be a Tin Foil Hat, you mean?

Tin Hat debunks nothing, btw, and your OP is vague and needs expanding.

Not much of a history on "Tin Hat." Here's an actual history, though Wikipedia is a dubious source at best...

Origin of concept
The concept was mentioned in a science fiction story by Julian Huxley, "The Tissue-Culture King," first published in 1927, in which the protagonist discovers that "caps of metal foil" can be used to block the effects of telepathy.[1]

Since then, the usage of the term has been associated with paranoia and conspiracy theories. The supposed reasons for their use include the prevention of perceived harassment from governments, spies or paranormal beings. These draw on the stereotypical images of mind control operating by ESP or technological means, like microwave radiation. The effectiveness of tin foil hats is disputable; however, the belief in their necessity is popularly associated with paranoia.[2]

Ooops, I just had an opposing view of your post and I've used the word "tin hat," does this make me a debunker?

How was that a history lesson in anything? How does a phrase seek to debunk anything? Why do you persist on making new threads that have absolutely nothing to do with the forum you create them in? How did you whizz past your 20 required posts in 5 days and make so many redundant threads and not be flagged for it?

Doesn't "debunker" mean to remove a bunker?
So people advocating a conspiracy are bunkers... hiding something?

My favorite way to debunk is to say this:

"You are wrong. I am right.

Nothing you say can change the fact that you have lost the debate.

Your facts are null, as is your argument.

You lose."
________________________________________________________

So, I will say it now.

"You are wrong. I am right.

Nothing you say can change the fact that you have lost the debate.

Your facts are null, as is your argument.

You lose."

Please don't encourage OP to write more. Let's feign it's well written, well-received and shall be implemented into the T & C tout de suite
