Odd Things Going Down in Alaska Today

I just hopped on the computer at work to kill my normal 3 hours of morning down time when I noticed a strange trend in the "new topics" list.

Alaska is popping up a lot, normally Alaska is mentioned once every couple of months (i read/check this site daily for news and entertainment) but this morning alone I've read one article about a missing f-22

Another thread about a strange meteor over anchorage Alaska (very close to where the missing f-22's base is stationed)

Seems like there is much going on in my state today... Just a fluke? Or could something be brewing?
