How do you make somebuddy a friend on ATS?

Use the drop down menu on their avatar, in any of their posts, which is colored blue and says "members". Then select the "add as friend" option.

You cannot "make" someone be your friend. You have to talk to them, find some common ground - listen, be understanding.. ..lend a shoulder to cry on. Then, naturally, you will become friends. Or just click on the add friend bit.
