I have few memories of being lobotomized with an ice pick. I still dont know if its a joke or not. I dont know much about crystal balls either but apparently some beings actually grow them inside their skull and/or are placed in the skull through the eye socket. If they are grown my guess is fear/tears produce crystals.

Anyone care to chime in?
