My whole Family have practised Pagan traditions for generations, it never enters my head about how it effects other people, to me it just is.

One thing that has always been taught throughout our Family is, no matter what faith someone follows, respect their right to do so, even when we are being branded (not directly of course) as evil or worshippers of Satan whatever, just accept the ignorance and live your life.

It is only labelled as such because it can not be controlled, followers of the Pagan faiths do so as individuals, sometimes those individuals join others to form Covens, which also get branded as being evil, yet the truth be known, I have never ever met a Pagan who has wanted to or intended anyone any harm at all, it has always been done with others in mind, the general community, to try and benefit all by making blessings for whatever reason you would be at the time.

That is the reason the Christian faith has always driven to put it in a bad light, it can not be taxed, and those responsible for the so called organised religions, found a way to make profit from God, by instilling fear into its followers.

Any God who loves their creation would never condemn anyone to an eternity of suffering, would never justify the massacre of innocents in their name, its all based on writings by Man, by Human beings, whereas Paganism is based around Nature, being one with our surroundings, listening to our living breathing World, understanding the link between everything, how one life force effects another life force, Bee's pollinating Plant life, Birds giving seed a head start by eating them, then dropping them, this connection starts at the very smallest and continues to the mightiest, Warm currents travelling around the World and the benefits it gives on many levels.

Anyone could spend days, weeks, months trying to explain how it feels to be Pagan, but they would still not get close to explaining it all.

Paganism is the truth of truths, people have fought hard and taken steps to drive people away from it by classing it as against God, yet in reality it is God, having faith and answering to nobody.

Organised Religion uses the word Sin to force its agenda, yet Sin depends on the Community, the moral standing of the group of people or society you live in, people agree to abide by the rules of where they live, it has nothing to do with God's will, it is 100% a Society moral and justice stance, which itself is controlled by those who see nothing but profit and use greed to drive themselves to tell lies and deceive people.

Judgement is usually passed by people who only have the opinions of others to go by even when reading their scriptures, more people would truly understand if they spent time looking at what Paganism actually was, instead of allowing those with an interest in keeping them away from it to tell them what God expects from them.

Everyone to their own thing, whatever makes your life work, but remember, at the end of our lives we all get to know and understand the truth, no matter who you are, or how wealthy you are, how fit you are, or how ill you are, we all of us will get to the end of our lives, a time nobody can avoid.

I like to believe I am Spiritually secure enough to never fear that day.

Yep. Getting ready to put up the Christmas Tree.

Jeremiah 10:2-4: "Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen....For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and hammers, that it move not."

Origins of the name "Easter": The name "Easter" originated with the names of an ancient Goddess and God. The Venerable Bede, (672-735 CE.) a Christian scholar, first asserted in his book De Ratione Temporum that Easter was named after Eostre (a.k.a. Eastre). She was the Great Mother Goddess of the Saxon people in Northern Europe. Similarly, the "Teutonic dawn goddess of fertility [was] known variously as Ostare, Ostara, Ostern, Eostra, Eostre, Eostur, Eastra, Eastur, Austron and Ausos." 1 Her name was derived from the ancient word for spring: "eastre." Similar Goddesses were known by other names in ancient cultures around the Mediterranean, and were celebrated in the springtime. Some were: bullet Aphrodite from ancient Cyprus bullet Ashtoreth from ancient Israel bullet Astarte from ancient Greece bullet Demeter from Mycenae bullet Hathor from ancient Egypt bullet Ishtar from Assyria bullet Kali, from India bullet Ostara a Norse Goddess of fertility.
