Nuclear launch card was missing for months

www.cnn.com

A former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff says in a new book that while Bill Clinton was in the White House, a key component of the president's nuclear launch protocol went missing.
"The codes were actually missing for months. This is a big deal," says Gen. Hugh Shelton. "We dodged a silver bullet."

OMG!

There could not be a more serious security breach than this. Democrat's disdain for the military is well understood, but this is a most glaring example that put our country at risk. If the codes were missing "for months", why was no one even attempting to find them? Why was no one asking for a new set to be generated?

You know damn well they burried this story and for good reasons. Werent missile and rocket technology also leaked/sold/given to the Chinese under the Clinton admins mismanagement period of 8 years also?

Of course many of us recall those issues.

So, another question becomes: What's possibly "missing" under the current administration that loathes the military even more than clinton did? What other security breaches are just not important enough to worry about?
