Massive Hail Storm Phoenix, Arizona October 5, 2010

Storm came out of nowhere, temperatures dropped 30 degrees in minutes.Highly unusual weather, never seen anything like it especially this time of the year.

good god why won't the videos work on ats?..

It was way way windier over here, it was like... 70 miles I swear. The hail was about that size too , was intense , a lot of the trees got trimmed here cause of the wind... never saw weather like this in arizona, it's freak.

oh and i just saw the thread "coldest winter in 1000 years" ....maybe this has something to with it..??..interesting indeed...

Man, that is CRAZY hail.

The nice blue sky immediately afterward is kind of trippy to me. Cleared away fast.

And the fog created was amazingly cool to see.

Nice stuff, if a bit concerning. AZ in Oct having that kind of storm? Not too often there, from what I remember.

Thanks for your seemingly out-of-place post. At first, I wondered what does an AZ hailstorm have to do with an AR earthquake, then thought you might have the Arkansas state abbreviation confused with Arizona. Next, I wondered if you might be indirectly referring to something like the Tesla-Tunguska thing . . . at any rate, a bit of curiosity prompted me to check the quake site you referenced and immediately became interested in the current quake activity in Guy. Will be watching that a while.

As to the original post to remain on topic, quite interesting video, especially the fog-mist.
